Sierra Leonean Physiotherapy trainee sets off for India to begin next stage of training

ReSurge Africa would like to wish Physiotherapy trainee Balansama Janneh ‘Bon Voyage’ as he leaves Sierra Leone and embarks on his 4 year BSc in Physiotherapy at SRM University, Chennai, India. Bala has already completed a training placement at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore. Recently he has been working at the Holy Spirit hospital whilst waiting to take up his place at SRM, and has been part of the supporting team for three visiting surgical missions to HSH, two by British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and one by visiting Ghanaian team from Korle-Bu teaching hospital, headed up by ReSurge Director Albert Paintsil.

Bala…You have worked very hard to earn your place at University and to be supported by ReSurge Africa – we are all very proud of you.

Good Luck!

Bala
